Our team of linguists, engineers and managers come from all walks of life and all are qualified professionals with years of experience in the industry. They are all skilled in their various jobs, be it translating, editing, project management, software localisation or desktop publishing.

All assignments are performed by multilingual translators in their native-language. They operate in-country and are accredited translators (with at least, a Bachelor's degree, and usually coupled with a Masters degree or Doctorate). Their work is then cross-edited by experienced proofreaders and professional editors, whose fine tunig and identification of errors ensures accuracy, style and consistency in the use of terminology. Most of our translators are skilled users of Translation Memory software.

Our editors are experienced linguists responsible for the overall accuracy of a translation and to ensure that there are no misinterpretations or ambiguities in the target text. Every translation produced by AsiaL10n is checked again in this way by a second linguist. An editor is also responsible for ensuring that, when the band of translators work on different modules of the same project, the terminology and style is consistent throughout.

Our project managers experienced industry personnel who are responsible for ensuring that a customer's project is completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget: effective and efficient management - saving time and energy throughout the entire process from initial client contact to final file delivery.

An AsiaL10n project manager is the customer's one point of contact, no matter how many different languages, files or documents are involved in the project. Following an initial project briefing, you could well decide to take a hands-off approach, fully confidant that our project managers will meet the deadline and that all languages will attain the same quality assurance standards throughout.

In addition to client liaison, scheduling, budget control, appointing and supervising translators, quality control, glossary maintenance, translation memory maintenance and updating, the project manager ensures a smooth and consistent flow of information to all involved in the project.

Key steps include:
1. Reviewing the source text
2. Building and maintaining client-specific glossaries
3. Quality control at all stages
4. Co-ordinating translators, editors and proofreaders
5. Co-ordinating DTP and graphics requirements
6. Co-ordinating software technicians
7. Liaising with overseas offices for translation approval
8. Supplying files in your required format
