Our team are all skilled users of various graphic and layout software such as QuarkXPress, PageMaker, FrameMaker, Frame+, SGML, PhotoShop, Illustrato, InDesign, Corel Draw, Acrobat, Microsoft Suite, HTML, SGML/XML, Go Live!, Flash and Dreamweaver.

AsiaL10n's systems support all the software tools required to produce the various forms of documentation on PC, Macintosh or Unix hardware platforms. We have the skills and expertise to localize and produce electronic documentation in CCJK and other Asian languages, thereby maintaining the look, feel and style of the customer's original source documentation.

The localization into Asian languages presents both technical and cultural difficulties that need to be anticipated and catered for.

	Our team of desktop designers are at least bilingual - some even trilingual - in Asian
	languages which speeds up the process of localization into Asian languages. Different Asian software packages present different issues that must be addressed. We know what to look out for.
	We maintain ourselves up-to-date with trends and technological advancements and
	are able to incorporate sophisticated translation memory tools into the process, thereby saving even more time and money for repeat customers.
	We maintain and constantly upgrade our suite of the latest software for the PC and
	Macintosh in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Thai and our in-house stable of bilingual DTP specialists are experts in its use.
	Asian font technology is an extremely complicated field, and is one of our particular
	strengths. We are able to provide advice as to the appropriate PostScript and TrueType fonts for both Macintosh and PC platforms for each Asian language. CCJK languages use double byte character sets, and cannot be used directly in English versions of many DTP applications such as QuarkXpress. We can provide suggestions for the most cost effective and convenient work arounds for this situation depending on your requirements for the use of the final documents.
	We have print industry specialists who can advise you on the most cost effective
	way of producing your printed materials. We work closely with our local specialist print bureaus, giving clients the widest possible range of output options, including positive or negative film (b/w or color separations), computer-to-plate technologies, final print processes, packaging and delivery methods, etc.
